Neil Odom-Haslett started his banking career in the 1980s, and subsequently worked for a number of international banks including Fortis, Wells Fargo (Eurohypo that was) and Deutsche Pfandbrief Bank, initially in the corporate banking arena before moving over to the property finance sector at the end of the 1990’s.
In the summer of 2013 Neil joined Standard Life Investments to head up the Commercial Real Estate Debt team.
Since 1998 the roles have been in key lending/origination and credit risk management and covering all sectors / asset classes of property lending in the UK and Europe.
Currently focussing on UK lending with a remit to expand this to Continental Europe and in due course Asia.
Neil is based in London and spends a few days every second week in Edinburgh (where SLI's head office is based)
