Earlier this month and before life changed so much for all of us, Neil met Julian Gabriel, Chairman of Running Well, to hand over a donation for £12,500 which was raised at the Annual Fund Raising Dinner in November.

For all of you who attended the Dinner and who donated, here’s how your money is being spent and we hope that some positive news at this time helps lift the spirits a little ..

Earlier this week the Annual APL Golf Day took place in the glorious September sun.  Over 70 (our biggest event yet) enjoyed a round of golf at the prestigious Coombe Hill Golf Club which was followed by a late lunch and prize giving. Our thanks to everyone who took part and to our sponsors, Brecher, Savills & Currie Brown.

Earlier this month a group of APL members dodged the rain and made it through the northern line issues to attend the C&W APL seminar on Substitution and the End of Real Estate.   We have had great feedback from attendees who 'hadn't heard anything like it before' and particularly liked the way it was brought back to what it meant for the audience.  Below is a summary from the seminar:

Last night saw the APL summer BBQ,  kindly hosted by Knight Frank and organised by Jeremy Tham and Alice Harding.

The weather was kind and over 100 people enjoyed a BBQ and drinks accompanied by live music on Knight Frank’s 6th floor terrace.

We are delighted to say that APL Board member Emma Jack completed the London Marathon in April, completing the 26 miles and raising money for Missing People.  The APL were pleased to be able to sponsor her efforts.
